Some questions and answers when buying Private sale

Do you have restrictions on who can participate?

Yes, we do not accept participants from the United States, the People’s Republic of China (excluding Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan), New Zealand, and participants who are citizens or residents of, or located in, a geographic area that is subject to sanctions of the United States, and participants who are subject to the sanctions imposed by the United Nations and/or the United States.

Do I have to do registration and/or know your client (“KYC”) for the private contribution?

Yes. Both registration and KYC are obligatory.

What is the step-by-step process of participating in the private contribution?

To participate in the private contribution, you will need to follow the below steps.

1. Click the button “Private Contribution Registration” on Eloncity’s official website to open our registration Google form;

2. Fill in and submit the Google form;

3. Wait for Eloncity’s review and approval;

4. Only approved and selected candidates will receive our email notification through contact@eloncity.io. You will need to complete the KYC process on www.tokeneed.com

5. Once your KYC gets approved, you will receive a participation instruction via email;

6. You will need to sign a private contribution agreement with the Foundation and complete your contribution pursuant to the terms of the private contribution agreement.

What do I need to provide for KYC?

You will need to provide the following information and documents:

1. Name

2. Nationality

3. Email

4. Address

5. A scanned copy of the photo page of your passport, or government issued photo ID (front & back);

6. A selfie photo with your ID.

We may ask for additional information in certain cases.

May I modify my KYC information after submission?

Yes, you may send your updated information to contact@eloncity.io.

What cryptocurrencies are accepted for the private contribution?

Ethereum (ETH) and Bitcoin(BTC). Please note that we do not accept fiat currencies (e.g., US Dollars).

Can I contribute directly from a cryptocurrency exchange wallet?

NO. Please DO NOT send ETH from an exchange wallet, and please use an ERC-20 compatible wallet to send the ETH to the contribution address we provide.

What type of wallet shall I provide to receive the tokens?

Any wallets that support ERC-20 tokens should be fine.

May I use a cryptocurrency exchange address as the ETH address to receive my tokens?

NO. Please DO NOT use any cryptocurrency exchange address (such as Coinbase, Binance, Huobi, OKEx, etc.) as the ETH address to receive your tokens, in which case there is a chance that you may lose your tokens. If this happens, we are not responsible for your loss.

Does Eloncity have a vesting period for the tokens distributed in private sale? If so, how long is the vesting period?

Yes,vesting period: 10% token released per month, 10 times, total 9 months. The tokens will be available for release on the same date as the release of public sale tokens.

When will I receive the first 10% of my ECT Tokens?

We will distribute the first 10% of your ECT tokens within six weeks after the completion of the public contribution.
